Kirby's Dream Land 2 - Part 1 : Grass Land

I really do love this game. While it is not my favourite Kirby game, it is the first one I played, and even after playing many others, I still hold this one highly. This is Kirby's Dream Land 2, and it is very fun! This first video zips through the whole first world in no time!

Kirby's Dream Land 2 - Part 2 : Big Forest

Meet Coo the Owl, you will be seeing him a lot in this playthrough! Coo is seriously over-powered in this game, having the ability to fly fast and freely, while also having two of the best powers in the game. Coo Cutter is probably the fastest way of dealing damage in this game if you fire it at point blank range.

Kirby's Dream Land 2 - Part 3 : Ripple Field

Meet Kine the Fish... he is terrible. Aside from whole creepy storing Kirby in his mouth thing, he can barely move outside of water, and most of his powers are bad. His best one is Spark by a long shot, but it is just not worth it compared to taking Rick or Coo most of the time. This was not remedied in Kirby's Dream Land 3, either.

Kirby's Dream Land 2 - Part 4 : Iceberg

The ice world of this game is actually pretty fun, unlike most ice worlds. The only problem here is, in order to get this world's gem, you need to use Kine. Kine is terrible for this world, so yeah... it is annoying. Seems the game designers were aware of how horrible Kine is too, as they always force you to play through the worst possible places with him if you want to finish the game with 100% completion.

Kirby's Dream Land 2 - Part 5 : Red Canyon 1-3

The worlds are starting to get longer and longer in this game, so splitting up the videos was needed. Red Canyon is quite the fun world, focusing on more basic layouts with harder platforming than was seen in the previous worlds. Also, as a side note... the little intro scenes to all of the worlds are quite hilarious!

Kirby's Dream Land 2 - Part 6 : Red Canyon 4-B

Red Canyon provides a handy stage where at the very beginning you can choose which animal buddy you want. This room comes in handy quite often for collecting things like the gems for the remaining worlds by giving quicker access to which animal you need than before. Also, the boss of this world is actually kind of tough.

Kirby's Dream Land 2 - Part 7 : Cloudy Park 1-3

Welcome to Coo... er... I mean Cloudy Park! Being a sky themed world it makes sense that Coo performs best here... but that goes for every world, so yeah... Either way, collecting this world's gem is actually part of a large, elaborate puzzle! It is actually quite neat, and likely my favourite gem to get due to the puzzle of shifting between animals and powers.

Kirby's Dream Land 2 - Part 8 : Cloudy Park 4-B

Time for a whole lot of Coo! I kept switching between Spark Coo and Cutter Coo in this playthrough when I really should have just stuck to Cutter Coo, really. Spark Coo is fun, but Cutter Coo is more useful. That aside... Kracko is really easy in this game compared to others.

Kirby's Dream Land 2 - Part 9 : Dark Castle 1-6

Dark Castle really does not feel like much of a final world. The levels are pretty rushed feeling. Stages 4-6 are just mirrors of stages 1-3 with more difficult obstacles, really. Every stage also ends in a different mini-boss. It works for a final world, I just feel it oculd have been better.

Kirby's Dream Land 2 - Part 10 : Dark Castle 7-B and Ending

Getting the gem for this world requires you to memorize a series of powers needed to get through a maze of doors. If you mess up even once you will have to retry. You can see the pattern with Spark Kine in the room before the maze, but it is always the same, so you could just look it up then memorize it. The final boss is actually quite tricky in this game if you are not very careful.
