Post Zelda 2 - The Adventure of Link (No Damage)
Latest Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1OMkSsRQBE

Been quite awhile since I have made one of these threads... but here goes another game! This time around doing Zelda 2 cause I thought hard about games I could play, and this old gem comes to mind. The game has its share of problems, and has a lot of Nintendo Hard shenanigans (stupid mazes without any sort of map or hint, whee), but I still find it quite fun.

Still feels weird coming into games like these at the age of like... 14-15 or so when most people play them at a very young age... Completely missed the type of stuff that would give children trouble, ah well! Hopefully this one will be entertaining!

Video List:

01. Warming Up in the Desert
02. Jump Jump to the Marsh
03. Iron Knuckles Hate Pogo-Sticks
04. A Trip Through Death Mountain
05. Downward Stab is so OP
06. Iron Knuckle Overload
07. Journey to the Eastern Continent
08. Beware Enemy Telefrags
09. Boots of Water Walking
10. Magicing All the Magics Magically
11. Beware the Infinite Looping Pits

Enjoy!~

No damage run? Crazy.

Well, I hope this LP will be worth the wait! =)

Oh wow... I'm not sure how this is going to turn out but I will definitely be watching this. I predict loads of insane tricks with this one.

And congratulations on your 1000th post here. :innocent:

It wasn't until I saw that video that I realized that when those armored knights have their shields raised, they're stabbing Link at crotch level.

I'm sure there's a dozen dirty jokes there, but I think I'll keep them to myself.

Zelda 2!!! What a pleasant surprise! :D
I remember playing this game growing up. Very enjoyable. It gets a lot of undeserved flack.

...You're insane for doing this whole thing without getting hit even once let alone getting killed...and for that you have my total respect and attention (even though I know you save before each Palace and Death Mountain).

Doing the entire game no damage is absolutely insane... and for that, I support you! GO PINK, GO!!! :amused:

...by the by, that game has an awesome soundtrack.

I also liked Zelda 2, despite how different it was from its predecessor. I've only beaten it legit once or twice though. And here you are doing a no-damage run? I'm enjoying it so far; can't wait to see how you do on the last few palaces.

Finally got around to updating the list now that the playthrough is as far as finishing palace 3. This game... it can be kind of hard sometimes and whatnot...!

I can imagine how frustrating the third palace was for you. Just beat it myself after maxing out all my stats in the first dungeon by Bubble grinding, and I still got killed at least twice in that dungeon. Nearly got killed against the boss of the palace too since he's such a spazz.

Wow, those scorpions must really have made Pink mad. I think "bloody" is the nastiest uncensored word she's used in her videos.

Technically, "bugger" is the equivalent of the "F" bomb in England, but it doesn't sound as harsh, so there's that.

The scorpions are such a problem cause they are completely random. Sometimes it takes AGES for them to open their eye... for less than half a second... Oh, and downward stabbing them? Not safe, if it shoots a fire ball at that time you will usually get hit, although sometimes you block it for whatever reason... I am happy they are not a dungeon enemy! Anyways... here is the part 7 link...!

Well, at least they weren't very common enemies unlike those freaking bird-type enemies that constantly chuck rocks your way or the Lizalfos who also chuck rocks at you from up high (the ones behind the barricades). I don't think you can even kill those guys without Thunder, and even then I don't think it's worth the cost since they just keep respawning.

Speaking of annoying enemy types... Wizrobes! Funny enough, they are one of the easiest to deal with enemy types in this game... The Boss Wizrobe, on the other hand... freaking spastic teleporters...

Alone, Wizrobes weren't bad. It was just annoying to have to save up magic to use Reflect on them. Then they started pairing them up with even worse enemy types...

I tend to just avoid the Wizrobes; block their magic and move on rather than waste MP on Reflect. Of course, you don't need to save it in case you need Life or Shield, so it all works out!

Oh wow I thought this was just a regular walkthrough, not a no damage one. This has my attention even more now. :innocent:

Not having to burn magic on Life makes me feel like I will never run out of it... You can imagine that eventually comes back to bite me, but eh! Got another video uploaded, though~

Indeed the move went smoothly... although cannot wait for my NEXT move where I can get marginally more privacy...

Anyways, more video!

I never got to play many games with birds that just fly out of nowhere toward you like you have a hat made of worms on your head. Didn't have much money when I was a kid to buy many NES games. :amused: I was lucky enough to get a copy of "Megaman 3" from my dad when I was 10.
