Post Question about Sony Vegas
Hey Shagg, how do you get the avi's from recordings into sony vegas? I'm assuming you still use Camtasia to record stuff, but when I try to put the video in Vegas, all I get is audio. I have been able to fix this by leaving the vid uncompressed, but that makes the video upwards of 30GB, a bit too large for every video.

Do you use a different recorder now? Or do you know some kind of workaround to either get Vegas to show video, or make Camtasia record in a different format?

Hmm. Honestly, I haven't used Vegas for a long time, and I don't remember having any trouble of that sort when I did. So... sorry, but I don't think there's any way I can help!

Ah, I see. Oh well, thanks anyway. I guess that means you just use Camtasia for editing as well as recording?

For editing I've started to use CyberLink PowerDirector.
