Post Re: Ragnarok Inspired: A Futile Attempt at a Practical Agend
A Broken Wheel
I'm so dysfunctional...
Nothing but a limp third-wheel...
To my friends, my family
Everyone...
I just cause everyone else pain
Whether indirectly or not...
I'm just a jagged cog,
Forcing others to grind against themselves...
Running them down until they break
Until they snap...
I watch the machine collapse around me
Staying where I am while everyone else crumbles
This is my life...
Forever breaking others until I'm the only thing left...

Post Re: Ragnarok Inspired: A Futile Attempt at a Practical Agend
So, I made these forever ago and meant to post them, but never got around to it! I made a few of the Robot Masters from the Megaman Classic Series as Navis from Battle Network. I'm planning on making all of the ones that haven't been officially made yet, which I believe includes all of the ones as far back as Megaman 8 (maybe 7). But for now, here are GalaxyMan.EXE and PlugMan.EXE!

Image

I really like the way he turned out. The space helmet, the swirls on his clothes (which is supposed to be, like, galaxies and what-not), his entire color scheme just ROCKS, MAN! :hysterical:

This one's pretty cute. When I thought about Plug Man as a navi, I thought back to Megaman Battle Network 4 and the Jomon Electric Store. I figured that PlugMan.EXE would be the mascot for the store, so I made a kid-friendly Cat-like Navi who seems nice in the public eye, but is ruthless when it comes to Netbattling!!!

DAAAW! I just want to hug PlugMan.EXE he's so adorable! :innocent: To bad I can't cause he's a program but seriously I love what you did here. If they every for some reason decided revive the Battle Network series they should have a Net Navi contest so you could enter those two. And yes I know that Star Force is the successor to Battle Network but my point still stands.

I see where you're coming from. I never even played Starforce. It just seemed so....bad. It was a failed successor to Battle Network in my humble opinion.

The Plunge
I stand on top of the world
Looking out at the sea of despair before me
Looking back to find my demons
Taunting me, screaming
Laughing at me and urging
Urging me to step closer
To waltz with carelessness as I approach
The edge of the world

Fight as I may, they continue to push
Doubts, Accusations, Fears, Rage
My feet carry to where they shouldn't
I struggle against the towering foes
"Don't worry about the little things"
That is what they said
But I know better

My heels find air and I stare
One final glimpse of what did me in
A single mistake of forgetfulness
A minuscule error

"Don't worry about the little things"
That is what they said
But more oft than not
The last little push is what sends me over the edge
I alight momentarily, then plummet down
Plunging into despair

I don't know why, but this liked me like an anime's openning lyric :3

Have another navi!!!! Except....he's kinda lame

Image

He's kinda just....blegh...I had a good concept, but the design kinda just fell apart. The Navi belongs to the son of the president of a geothermal company. Being that the child is spoiled, he made his navi a king, specifically the king of volcanoes. He just seems too....blobby to me. I was originally going to give him a more slim appearance, but that didn't seem to befit a king. And I thought of how magma acts in real life. It kinda just gloops around, so giving him a larger body made sense to me... I dunno
